Job Description
Summary
Provides private swimming instruction and leads aquatic activities for various populations.
- Develops aquatic programs and activities for populations of varying age interest and ability.
- Instructs individuals or groups in swimming and aquatic activities.
- Monitors pool area for safety violations and persons in distress and responds appropriately.
- Provides underwater video analysis and instruction for various populations when appropriate.
- High school diploma General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred
- No experience required
- No licensure/certification/registration required
- Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
