Join Our Team as a Park Attendant!
The Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District is on the lookout for a friendly dedicated professional to join our team as a fulltime Park Attendant. If you have a passion for people and the outdoors a knack for detail and you are a strong communicator wed love to hear from you!
About the Role:
Youll play a crucial part in maintaining two of the Districts parks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer Service: Greet park patrons
- Safety: Enforcing park rules
- Reservation Preparation: Preparing pavilion areas for reservations
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Regularly inspect maintain repair and clean park facilities and grounds
- Independence: Problem solve on the fly
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other Facilities Technicians and Park staff to complete tasks
- Adaptability: Rain or shine youll be out thereso embrace all seasons and be open to shifting priorities. Because the public loves and visits our parks on weekends and holidays working them is a priority.
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of related work experience involving general maintenance and contact with the public
- Must be able to pass a background check and Live Scan (criminal background check) conducted by the District as a condition of employment
