What You Do

The Finance Manager (FM) will work directly with the finance team to manage the financial records of multiple clients (a Portfolio). The FM will be responsible for reviewing making corrections and final production of all financial records for each client in their portfolio. The FM will also be responsible for writing monthly financial reports for clients of a certain size and interacting with the Board of Directors for the clients in the Portfolio. The FM will not be executing the daily transactions but will work with the team to answer questions.

Requirements

Ensure the monthly final financial reports correctly represent the finances of the association.

Review GLs statements of revenue and expenses and balance sheets on a consistent basis to resolve issues or fix errors and ensure each element on the finance reports is accurate.

Answer questions related to all financial aspects of each association both internally (internal teams) and externally (client facing).

Perform monthly activities to include detailed review of all finance statements for accuracy executing corrections and performing other duties to close the books each month.

Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports including weekly monthly quarterly and yearend reports.

Be familiar with and assure administrative tasks are properly executed for Portfolio properties (tax payments EOY tax returns government filings etc.

Support any audits for clients in the portfolio.

Attend required weekly meetings setting goals and completing assigned tasks timely.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or related field required. CPA degree preferred.

35 years of accounting/analyst experience is required (you will take an accounting test).

Must have 3 years minimum working in real estate related activities (property management residential/commercial investment property accounting in a real estate client etc.

Experience managing all Finance aspects of a business is preferred.

Extensive knowledge of accounting principles.

Highly proficient at Microsoft Office Suite and specifically Excel.

Must be well organized and a selfstarter.

Proficient in Vantaca would be a big boost.

Detail oriented professional attitude reliable.

Strong problemsolving skills research and resolution skills data analysis and multitasking skills.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fastpaced and highvolume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Must be able to analyze data problems and issues formulate solutions and execute the solutions.


Working Conditions

The role is based in a corporate office environment. With some remote work flexibility.

Office hours typically run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM but flexibility is expected based on business needs as the role may require occasional evening or weekend work.

Frequent travel may be required to meet with Boards.
