Job Description
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Create dough sauce and toppings from scratch using fresh ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in menu development and the creation of new pizza recipes.
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and delivery during peak hours.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and frontofhouse team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pizza chef or similar role.
- Knowledge of pizzamaking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for cooking and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary school training or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with a variety of pizza styles (e.g. Neapolitan New Yorkstyle etc..
- Experience with kitchen equipment and tools specific to pizza making.
