The Department of Labor and Workforce Development Division of Employment and Training Services is recruiting for an
Employment Security Analyst 3 located in Juneau!

This position is in the General Government Unit (GGU) at a Range 18.


What You Will Be Doing:
You will be working with a team in the Employment and Training Technical Unit (ETTU) to ensure excellence in Alaskas delivery of employment and training services described in the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other statewide programs with a primary focus on federal reporting creating reports and queries analyzing data and troubleshooting issues in the AlaskaJobs software application to provide support to statewide field staff users program coordinators and management.

You will have opportunities to build and use skills in a variety of software including AlaskaJobs MS Office Suite SharePoint Online and other various web and nonwebbased applications.

The ETTU oversees and coordinates many employment and training programs and ensures compliance with state and federal directives. Your work as an Employment Security Analyst will pave the path for many Alaskans to train for better job opportunities and for Alaskan employers and job seekers to connect successfully.

The ETTU provides the primary and highest level of technical support and troubleshooting for the Workforce Development and Workforce Services programs in the areas of project/program management compliance planning analysis training service delivery corrective action and evaluation of program improvements.
