Job Summary
The Conference Desk Assistant serves as the first point of contact for conference guests providing conciergestyle support from 8 AM 8 PM. This position involves handling guest inquiries managing administrative tasks and coordinating resources using various university systems such as EMS and StarRez. Required Dates: Training: April 21 April 23 May 6 and May 7 Conferences begin May 11 August 3 2025. There are required work weeks before and after conferences end. Weekly meetings: TBD
Minimum Qualifications
Must be enrolled in classes for the 202526 academic year. Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week and throughout all assigned camps/conferences. Must be available for shifts between 8 AM 8 PM seven days a week including Federal Holidays. Must staff the Conference Services Desk as scheduled and respond to client requests. Positive attitude; team player. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to multitask. Mandatory participation in summer staff training sessions.
