As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Information Systems youll play a pivotal role in advancing research and teaching within our worldranked department. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to cuttingedge research in areas such as digital innovation cybersecurity and AI ethics while shaping the next generation of IS professionals through our prestigious graduate programmes. This role offers you the chance to collaborate with internationally respected groups across multiple disciplines and contribute to universitywide digital initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Research Excellence: Conduct highquality research publish in toptier journals and secure external funding to support your research programme.
  • Deliver Innovative Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels embracing innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Foster Industry Engagement: Build partnerships with industry and government stakeholders enhancing the realworld impact of your teaching and research.
  • Provide Academic Leadership: Supervise research students contribute to curriculum development and take on leadership roles within the department and university.

You will be a great fit if:

You are an ambitious Information Systems scholar with a strong research track record excellent teaching skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with industry partners.

You will also:

  • Hold a PhD in Information Systems or a closely aligned discipline.
  • Have a proven publication record in highquality IS journals and conferences.
  • Possess expertise in areas such as IS user behaviours humanAI interaction or digital innovation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to secure research funding and supervise graduate students.
  • Have experience in developing and delivering engaging courses in information systems.
  • Show a commitment to fostering industry partnerships and interdisciplinary collaboration.
