About Sheerline Aluminium:
Position Overview: The position is an entrylevel role and suitable for someone who has the character ability and willingness to develop further and master technical product and sales aspects. The position supports the sales team and service customers assisting with sales functions and admin.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the sales team in servicing existing or new customers.
Support the sales team with all sales and sales admin related functions with accuracy and speed.
Generate quotations for customers and follow up to turn quotes into orders track quote conversion rate.
Answer phones and take down sales orders or messages when the sales team is unavailable thereafter accurate order processing.
Handle credit notes requests and the processing thereof as per SOPs.
Resolve account queries quickly and accurately to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Expedite customer orders ensure correctness and efficiency minimizing delays.
Assist with processing customer payments managing cash with order accounts and confirming payments as and when necessary.
Help manage customer back orders liaising and expediting with buyers or suppliers and keeping customers informed.
Assist in identifying upselling opportunities and potential new customers and take necessary action to acquire their business.
Familiarise self with SOPs processes and maintain housekeeping and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
Actively participate in initiatives to grow volume and profit and develop own product knowledge.
Familiarise self with and follow Standard Operating Procedures and abide by all Company policies and procedures.
Participate in stock takes and perpetual counts and work overtime to prepare and complete such.
Work overtime after hours or weekends if and when required.
Report any fraudulent theft collusive suspicious unproductive malicious or instigative activities or attempts by any party.

Preferred Requirements & Attributes:
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent. Recognition of prior learning (experience) will also be considered. Must be computer literate MS Office. Drivers license EB (Code 8. Must be highly organised detail oriented and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He or she should have a strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. The candidate must demonstrate initiative problem solving abilities plus a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities.
