The Role
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Children in Care Social Workers to join our Children in Care Team who are responsible for delivering specific work streams to provide technical advice and guidance to others (including other professionals) involved in specific service delivery.
This role requires social workers to meet all the fundamental professional standards as set out by Social Work England and ensure that the protection of children is adhered to ensure that children and young people are safe and their outcomes enhanced. The main duties and key responsibilities of this role is commensurate across Childrens Services applying the skills and competencies in different areas across the service.
In this role you will carry out the following key responsibilities (this is not a comprehensive list but an example of the types of responsibilities):

This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Valid driving licence and own transport or be able to provide alternative suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
