Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Banquet ServerAM/PM to join our team at Schahet Hotels in Schenectady New York. As a Banquet Servier you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests during the banquet event. This individual contributor role offers a parttime schedule and a competitive salary of $10.75 per hour plus gratuities.

Responsibilities:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude promptly seating them and offering menus
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Ensure all food and beverage items are accurately delivered to the guests
Prepare and set up for all Banquets ensuring all items are fresh and wellstocked
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the banquet area.
Assist with setting and bussing table before and after event
Strive to provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer service or server role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a sense of urgency
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Availability to work mornings weekends and holidays as needed
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
