Position
Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Senior Scientistposition. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

The Senior Scientist class is the first level management class in the Scientist series. Incumbents in this class are expected to work under minimal management supervision and instruction and to exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative while supervising and coordinating the work of professional staff performing tasks related to SacSewers Scientific Research Section.
Minimum Qualifications:
Either: 1. A masters degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science environmental toxicology biology chemistry ecology limnology engineering or other natural or physical science related to the intent of the class.
AND
Six years of fulltime paid experience conducting assessing planning and managing scientific investigations in one or more of the following areas: ecosystems anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems and wastewater treatment processes.Or: 2. A Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science environmental toxicology biology chemistry ecology limnology engineering or other natural or physical science related to the intent of the class.
AND
Four years of fulltime paid experience conducting assessing planning and managing scientific investigations in one or more of the following areas: ecosystems anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems and wastewater processes.How to Apply:If you are interested in pursuing this exceptional career opportunity please submit your online application.
