Job Description
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate designforreliability principles into new systems.
- Provide technical leadership for planning and executing reliability evaluations ensuring alignment with realworld use conditions.
- Partner with data scientists to define reliability test deliverables and conduct Design of Experiments (DoE) for investigating reliability concerns.
- Analyze failure data identify root causes and trends and recommend corrective actions with crossfunctional teams.
- Lead efforts to refine and enhance internal reliability engineering processes.
- Assess the impact of field failures on service costs across a products lifecycle.
- Assist with the development and evaluation of warranty cost models.
- Support data analysis related to field performance and product safety concerns.
- Document implement and verify corrective actions as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 10 years of experience in electronic hardware reliability engineering
- Experience with mechanical or electromechanical reliability engineering
- Knowledge of failure analysis accelerated test techniques reliability statistics system reliability modeling HALT Physics of Failure analysis techniques and life data analysis as they apply to electronic products is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving capabilities
- Excellent data analysis and statistical skills
- Clear communication skills able to interface effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy
- ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred or willingness to obtain
