About the Role:
The Events Specialist will be responsible for coordinating logistics planning and administrative tasks in support of the event lifecycle for tradeshows regional events and sales enablement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful of events by managing timelines vendor relationships internal communications and logistical details. The Events Specialist will work closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales and operations to ensure alignment with business objectives and event goals.
Primary Responsibilities of the Events Specialist:
Event Planning & Logistics:
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of tradeshows conferences regional events and sales enablement events including venue selection travel arrangements registration processes and vendor management.
- Support Global Marketing and Sales Enablement in developing event timelines and task lists to ensure all elements of the event are executed on time.
- Assist in the development of event budgets and manage expenses to ensure events are delivered within scope.
Vendor & Partner Relations:
- Source and manage relationships with external vendors including catering AV suppliers booth construction transportation and event service providers.
- Coordinate contracts negotiate pricing and ensure vendors meet the required service levels for each event.
OnSite Event Coordination:
- Serve as the onsite point of contact during events to ensure everything runs smoothly including setup registration and troubleshooting any lastminute issues.
- Manage event materials including shipping setup and teardown of event booths and promotional items.
Communications & Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure event branding messaging and promotional materials align with sales and enablement objectives.
- Communicate event details and logistics to internal teams external partners and participants.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain event documentation including contracts vendor agreements postevent reports and budget tracking.
- Coordinate postevent evaluations and surveys to measure event success and identify areas for improvement.
PostEvent Analysis:
- Gather and analyze feedback from participants vendors and internal stakeholders to prepare postevent reports.
- Assist in the preparation of return on investment (ROI) reports to assess event effectiveness and support future planning efforts.
Required Qualifications of the Events Specialist:
- Bachelors degree in event management marketing communications or a related field preferred.
- 24 years of experience in event coordination with a focus on corporate tradeshows conferences and regional events.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in event management software CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules
Skills & Competencies:
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring that all event aspects from logistics to branding are executed precisely.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot lastminute event challenges and develop creative solutions on the spot.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work crossfunctionally with sales marketing and operations teams.
- Time Management: Skilled in managing tight deadlines and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Budget Management: Experience in tracking event budgets and controlling costs while delivering highquality experiences.
Preferred Qualifications of the Events Specialist:
- Experience working in global organizations or supporting marketing and sales enablement initiatives.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms and hybrid event coordination.
- Certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or other relevant qualifications.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience depending on the position offered and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
