Job Description
Direct Support Professional Manlius
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a motivated and organized Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work with a young man with a developmental disability that lives independently. In this role you will help him learn key independent living skills experience social activities and physical fitness opportunities in the community. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills strong organizational skills and be motivated and able to hold him accountable without adding to his anxiety.
Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with a resume or summary of experience.
Hours and days of work
Daytime weekday and weekend availability
Payrate: $23.00
Location: Manlius
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assistance with independent living skills support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS drivers license are required. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
