Description
Whatyoulldo:
- Record and deliver organized rounds discusscasesand gatheradditionalinformation as necessary
- Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment
- Partner with patient care teamregardingtreatment plans client communication and nursing care concerns
- Provideclient education including but not limitedto:home care instructions medications (indications adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients
- Assist DVM with patient assessmenttreatmentand procedures
- Providemonitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Induce andmonitorgeneral anesthesia and sedation procedures
- Perform inhouse laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing
- State Registered Veterinary Technician licensepreferred
- Prior veterinary experience required previousnursing or critical careexperience desired
- Proficient in calculations constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
