As Business Development Manager you will play a key role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the Central Coast Health & Wellbeing Living Lab an innovative initiative focused on helping people to age well at home.
You will be responsible for securing diverse funding building strong partnerships and raising the Living Labs profile across the community industry research and government sectors.
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about community engagement strategic communications and driving new initiatives that make a real difference.
In this role you will:
- Lead and grow a pipeline of diverse funding opportunities including research grants partnerships philanthropic contributions and sponsorships.
- Foster and manage relationships with aged care researchers clinicians community organisations industry and government.
- Lead grant application processes and support the implementation and evaluation of funded projects.
- Drive communications and engagement activities to showcase the Living Labs impact and build its reputation.

However as building strong relationships within the community is central to this role its important that you are available to work on the Central Coast to foster local engagement.
This 12month fixed term position will be located at the Central Coast Clinical School Gosford Campus (Darkinjung land).
How will you inspire us
You will have:
- Expertise in grant writing business development or securing diverse revenue streams aligned with strategic goals.
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage across community industry aged care and research settings.
- A proactive adaptable approach with strong project management skills capable of balancing handson delivery with strategic planning.
- A background in health aged care or Higher Education is preferable.

- Previous experience in building the sustainability of programs or organisations through diversified income streams.
