H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
1 Year relevant experience with floor cleaning equipment in an institutional setting preferred
What You Will Do
Operates floor maintenance equipment including but not limited to floor polish/burnisher high speed buffers riding scrubbers or carpet cleaners/extractors to maintain floors and provide a clean aesthetically pleasing environment.
Maintains equipment in good working order. Cleans and stores equipment properly after each use.
Reports equipment that is in need of repair or broken immediately to supervisor.
Follows safety and infection control practices when: handling and disposing of regular and medical waste; practicing hand hygiene techniques; using standard isolation precautions.
Safely uses the proper equipment for each assignment. Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Other duties as assigned including but not limited to wall washing cubical curtain changing vent and light cleaning furniture moves and set ups collection and transportation of trash.
