About Darlot:

With a strong legacy Darlot is focused on the future optimising production and driving exploration programs to extend the mines lifespan and uncover new resources. The Darlot mine is located about 900 km northeast of Perth and 121 km north of Leonora in the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be a member of the Darlot Care & Maintenance Team responsible for providing quality timely preventative maintenance and repairs of the Darlot surface infrastructure which will include the Processing plant site buildings and infrastructure bore field and Camp facilities if required and other areas of the operation.

The position will be offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Promote and maintain a culture of safety adhering to Vault Minerals safety standards.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standard.
• Support the efficient operation of the production facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge expertise and practical application to minimise down time and subsequent loss of production.
• Correct and/or report safety and environmental hazards when identified to mitigate risk and reduce the occurrence of incidents and/or injury by investigating and reporting on ground control issues.
• Ensure minimal disruption to production through the ready access to critical parts & equipment and service providers by developing and maintaining good working relationships with external companies and having contingency plans in place to source these at short notice if required.

Key factors to your success include:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Recognised relevant Trade Certificate
• WA Electrical Licence
• HV Switching (desirable)
• WA Manual Drivers Licence (C Class)
• Australian Working Rights
