Job Description
Summary:
The New and Used Vehicle Detailer is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of both new and used vehicles. This role involves meticulous cleaning restoration and finishing of vehicles to produce a showquality level of cleanliness and polish.
Essential Duties:
- Inspection:Inspect vehicles for any noticeable scratches dents or defects.
- Exterior Cleaning:Thoroughly wash buff and wax the exterior of vehicles using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Interior Cleaning:Clean and vacuum the interior of vehicles ensuring no area is overlooked. Steam and deodorize interiors as needed.
- Detailing:Apply fabric protectants to interior surfaces clean windows and windshields to ensure they are streakfree and recondition and repair upholstery and dashboards.
- Documentation:Document all cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Coordination:Coordinate with team members or supervisors for any additional cleaning or repair services required.
- Safety and Cleanliness:Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to safety protocols.
Skills and Requirements:
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and products.
- Attention to Detail:Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Customer Service:Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds use both hands bend stoop and twist.
- Experience:Previous experience in vehicle detailing preferred.
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment:Fastpaced and collaborative environment.
- Hours:Typically five 8hour days including Saturdays as needed.
