Job Description:
The Intern will be responsible for learning the functions and processes of Inpatient Operations and completing projects and work as addition the Intern may be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience to assess understanding of assignments and to provide benefit to the Leadership team. The Hospital Administration Internship at UAB Medicine provides qualified individuals with a comprehensive experience in health care management to complement and enhance the foundations of their academic education. The position is a paid 12week opportunity where interns are integrated into hospital leadership and given handson projects that reflect strategic priorities as well as their interests. The interns will be encouraged to attend and participate in departmental and senior management meetings as well as shadow in clinical areas and support services
