Job Description
Under general supervision the Lead Engineering Technician performs advanced subprofessional civil engineering architectural and GIS work. This position serves as the primary coordinator and supervisor for engineering technicians ensuring efficient workflow distribution and technical support. The Lead Engineering Technician provides specialized expertise in design drafting surveying GIS mapping and construction project planning. Work is performed under the direction of a supervisor with responsibilities including technical guidance quality assurance and training of lowerlevel technicians.
