Job Description
Overview:
The Senior Varicent SPM/ICM System Analystwill be responsible for the ICM Application (Varicent) within Vestiss Sales Operations Department including user support maintenance configuration plan analysis design testing and implementation. The Senior Varicent SPM/ICM System Analyst will have decision making authority within the software tool and will guide the business on best configuration practices utilizing his/her softwarespecific training / education / knowledge.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Manage the configuration/enhancement of the Varicent ICM Application per Vestiss design specifications utilizing disciplined best practices and configuration methodologies.
- Develop plan and execute appropriate adjustments and testing (e.g. test plans test cases and test scripts) to comprehensively test approved enhancements.
- Redesign modify or expand existing components to serve new or improve existing business purposes
- Manage partnerships with various internal Business Partners to understand business problems and help to develop functional and technical solutions within the application.
- Serve as the goto expert for commission administrators business users and the sales team for troubleshooting applicationrelated problems.
- Create and/or modify enduser Reports and Dashboards as determined by Business Stakeholders.
- Update the application for contests spiffs and/or changes in annual compensation plans.
- Work with IT/Data team on data preparation and integration as it relates to the application.
- Maintain strict adherence to established IT changemanagement and quality assurance procedures (change promotion/migration).

- Research troubleshoot and resolve errors/issues as needed.
- Maintain security standards assign user security levels.
- Train others in the use of the tool as appropriate/requested
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and people skills
- SQL experience is preferred
- Advanced skillsets in Excel / Spreadsheet software preferred
- Strong presentation and projection skills
- Experience in troubleshooting and solution design
- Experience/knowledge of incentive compensation terminology calculations and metrics is preferred
- Experience with IT change management (change promotion/migration) is required

Experience/Qualifications:
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business or Engineering is preferred.
- 25 years of related and actual Varicent software experience
- IT Application Administration Experience is preferred

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $80000 to $100000 depending on circumstances including an applicants skills and qualifications certain degrees and certifications prior job experience market data and other relevant factors.
