Job Description

Clinical Pharmacist

Fastpaced high volume Pharmacy Department is looking for top skilled Clinical Pharmacists. Is that you

Work location: Texas Health Cleburne 201 Walls Dr. Cleburne TX 76031

Hours: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM with rotating weekend coverage (every 4th weekend)

Pharmacists will share oncall coverage and will need to be able to get to the hospital within at least 3045 minutes to ensure that any need can be addressed in 60 minutes or less.

Heres What You Need

Bachelors Degree Pharmacy Required

Other Pharm D. Required

CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.

PHAR Pharmacist upon hire required.

3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.

IV certification highly preferred

Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills computer proficient and possess basic math skills.

What You Will Do

Communicating effectively building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.

Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.

Ensuring the accuracy of ones own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the departments quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.

Ongoing professional development and growth.

Not only the management of ones own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.

Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.

Other duties as assigned.
