Job Description
The role: APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN
The apprenticeship:
Health Safety & Quality
Responsible for passing a CSCS (H&S) test.
Responsible for attending site inductions reading the site safety procedures and adhering to all safety instructions.
To work with and take direction from an Integral Supervising Operative.
Education
Qualifications required; minimum GCSE grade 5 in Maths English & Science
Will attend dayrelease at the West Suffolk College for the hours required.
Driving licence and reliable car essential (travel time & costs paid to JIB Ts&Cs)
Site Work
Will shadow an Integral Electrician to gain all the necessary experience over the 3 year apprenticeship
Responsible for attending site at the times required with a positive & constructive attitude.
Responsible for striving to achieve the targets set by the Integral Supervising Operative in a safe and efficient manner.
Desired skills experience & qualifications:
Ability to work carefully methodically and safely
Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently
Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
Good written and verbal communication
Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve problems
Organised and ability to timemanage work load
