About Our Department
The Alfred Podiatry Service provides acute foot care to patients with highrisk foot problems including ulceration infection Charcot foot and acute wounds. The service includes outpatient and inpatient treatments with a strong focus on wound management and comprehensive case management. The Podiatry staff work in collaboration with many other hospital departments to provide patient care of the highest standard and take pride in maintaining treatments in line with the latest evidencebased practice. There is a strong focus on continuing professional development for all staff and research is encouraged.
Position Summary
To provide support to the Podiatry service as a clinical podiatrist ensuring adherence to standards and a coordinated approach to clinical care of all patients within the health service. Staff may be required to work at any sites across Alfred Health as per clinical a Grade 2 you are required to maintain a clinical care ratio of 75 clinical care to 25 nonclinical care workload.
