Job Description
The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for hauling products to and from Waiakeas different work site locations. Starting pay is determined on experience; $22$29/hour. This is for a daytime shift position located in Hilo HI. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our bottling Plant in Hilo. Schedule:
- The CDL Driver is a fulltime position 40 hours per week
Daytime:
Monday Tuesday: 7:30am4:00pm
Wednesday: 7:30am2:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am6:30pm
Overnight:
MondayThursday: 4:00pm2:30am

Essential Job Functions:
- Works in a safe clean and responsible manner. Practicing defensive driving at all times
- Operates a tractor and trailer combo pulling a 45 water tanker or 40 containers w/ water to and from locations in and around the Hilo area.
- Deliver water to Bottling Plant Facility
- Unload water from tanker into Plant storage tank.
- Operate and deliver 40 container of product from Plant Facility to storage facilities.
- Dray ISO tanks between Hilo Staging lot and Well site.
- Pick up materials preloaded into 40 container from warehouse site(s) and deliver to the Bottling Plant Facility 1 2 miles)
- Performs housekeeping tasks to keep truck clean organized and safe. These include but are not limited to: wiping and washing equipment and tools general cleaning trash removal
- Assist coworkers when necessary.
- Responds positively with sense of urgency while meeting quality standards.
- Strictly adhere to sanitation hygiene safety regulations & procedures GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Effectively communicate with supervisors coworkers and department staff from all areas of operation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Overtime hours may be required based on work demand. Employee must be flexible with the work hours as needed.
- High school diploma/ GED required
- Valid CDL A License w/ Tanker Endorsement
- 2 years of experience operating CDL preferred
- Clean driving abstract
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand or walk and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to twist bend and stoop climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 1020 pounds lift and/or move more than 30 pounds with the aid of a coworker or reasonable accommodations
- Driver is expected to travel with company vehicle to multiple work site locations during shift
- Ability to comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
