Diesel Mechanic
Rombola Family Farms is seeking passionate and driven Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Griffith NSW. The Diesel Mechanic will report to the Engineering Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring that farm machinery is running smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent fulltime position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in msechanical repairs. You should be able to work independently and be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively.
Key operational accountabilities include:
Conducting regular maintenance checks on all farm machinery.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues.
Repairing and replacing faulty parts.
Performing routine servicing and oil changes.
Ensuring all machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
Experience working as a diesel mechanic preferably with farm machinery.
A strong understanding of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to working with heavy machinery.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
A willingness to work flexible hours during peak periods.
