DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will be responsible for supervising coordinating inspecting and evaluating tasks related to food preparation production serving baking meat cutting and sanitation. This includes overseeing food service personnel and ensuring order and discipline among inmate workers. You will set work procedures schedule tasks and assign staff to meet time requirements. Additionally you will maintain records and reports related to menus recipes orders requisitions and inventory as well as the performance of food service personnel and inmate workers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 40hour work week
- Work hours are 3:30 AM to 11:30 AM Sunday Saturday with a 30minute lunch.
- The position follows a threeweek rotating schedule with every third weekend off.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $50846.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Corrections Food Service Instructor(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience in food preparation production or service of a variety of complete meal menus in an institutional food service operation food catering service restaurant or in a similar largescale food production operation which included one year of lead work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which included one year of lead work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
