Drywall Foreman
$30$35 p/h

Job Summary:

As a Drywall Foreman you ll play a key leadership role in commercial residential and other construction projects. This position focuses on overseeing and participating in the installation of drywall systems with a strong emphasis on steel stud framing. Responsibilities include supervising crews coordinating tasks and ensuring highquality of drywall installations framing (steel and wood) insulation and related components. You ll also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints managing materials and ensuring compliance with safety standards onsite.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with a variety of hand and power tools have extensive experience with steel stud systems and demonstrate strong leadership in guiding less experienced team members. Safety efficiency and quality craftsmanship are essential to success in this midsenior level role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in the installation of steel stud and wood framing drywall insulation and related blueprints and layouts to ensure accurate and highquality results.
  • Coordinate crew tasks monitor progress and uphold safety and quality standards on site.
  • Inspect framing and drywall work for alignment code compliance and overall finish.
  • Communicate with site supervisors and trades to ensure efficient project flow.
  • Maintain tools enforce safety practices and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in drywall installation and steel stud framing including supervisory or lead roles
  • Proficient with hand and power tools used in framing and drywall work (e.g. drills saws levels lifts)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints layouts and construction documents
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality codecompliant work
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs climb ladders and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Solid understanding of construction site safety practices and standards
  • Ability to lead a team delegate tasks and work collaboratively with other trades
  • Good communication and time management skills to coordinate and meet project deadlines

Work Conditions:

  • Flexability on working hours may be required overtime will be paid accordingly.
  • Travel to offsite locations may be required.
  • Safety equipment will be required e.g. steeltoed safety boots safety glasses/goggles etc.
  • Hazards associated with the trade.
  • Work both indoors in confined spaces and outdoors.
  • Clean warm work clothes (jeans longsleeves hoodies etc..
