A creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher is sought by a wellregarded Independent coeducational school in Brent. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 to 5 to develop their artistic skills creativity and appreciation for a diverse range of art forms and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 covering various artistic disciplines.
- Develop students skills in a wide range of artistic techniques including drawing painting sculpture and digital media.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Art providing constructive feedback to guide their artistic development.
- Contribute to the enrichment of the schools artistic environment through displays exhibitions and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Art at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4 with ALevel experience being advantageous.
- Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines historical contexts and contemporary practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of fostering a vibrant and creative learning environment for students.
