Receptionist / Fitness Instructor
Location: Crawley
Hours: 30 hours per week (some evenings and weekends required)
Salary: Competitive Bonus Scheme
The Role
Were seeking a friendly enthusiastic and proactive Receptionist / Fitness Instructor to join our team. This dualrole combines frontofhouse responsibilities with the energy and expertise of delivering fitness sessionsperfect for someone who loves working with people and is passionate about health and wellness.
Your Daily Focus Will Include:
- Creating a warm professional first impression for all members guests and prospects
- Delivering excellent customer service both facetoface and over the phone/email
- Registering prospective members and guiding them through the joining process
- Supporting new and existing members with enquiries bookings and gym orientation
- Conducting basic fitness sessions and small group classes
- Providing class information and assisting with timetables and availability
- Handling membership queries including renewals cancellations and general admin
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the gym and reception areas
- Responding to phone and email enquiries and supporting with retention outreach
- Logging complaints lost property maintenance issues and other member feedback
- Creating and scheduling engaging content across social media platforms
- Promoting club events campaigns and special offers both inclub and online
- Supporting the Gym Manager and marketing team with brand awareness initiatives
What Were Looking For:
- A peopleperson with a passion for fitness and service
- Friendly approachable and enthusiastic in all interactions
- Highly organised and confident multitasker
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the clubs evolving needs
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (required)
- Experience delivering fitness sessions or group classes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using email social media and content creation tools
- Creative mindset with an eye for branding and visual consistency
- Able to maintain professionalism and calmness under pressure
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis
