About the Role
As a Sales Engineer you will take an active role in driving the expansion of our Gas Fire and Flame Detection Systems across Canadafocusing on the marine industrial energy manufacturing and transportation sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a fastgrowing company known globally for its lifesaving safety systems.
Youll be part of a supportive ambitious and collaborative teambacked by Swedish innovation and a global presence in over 30 countries.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in your territory.
Prospect and onboard new clients while strengthening relationships with existing ones.
Conduct inperson client visits virtual presentations product demos and contract negotiations.
Attend industry events lunch & learns trade shows and webinars.
Collaborate with distributors engineering firms and contractors.
Track leads interactions and forecasts using our CRM system.
Stay current on industry trends standards and technologies.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field OR 25 years experience in technical sales to the marine industrial or energy sectors in Canada.
Strong hunter mentality with a track record of finding and closing new business.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
Excellent communication skills selfstarter attitude and high energy.
Familiarity with CRM systems MS Office 365 and business software tools.
Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Fluent in English.
Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
Willingness to travel up to 30 occasionally on short notice.
