Your Mission

This is a broad crossfunctional role. If you see yourself as a strong fit for a specific part of the responsibilities (e.g. biodiversity methodology development or regulatory strategy) we still encourage you to apply. Were open to shaping this role around the right person including parttime setups or splitting the responsibilities across multiple hires.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Standards Landscape
Monitor and interpret emerging trends in carbon standards EU regulations (e.g. CSRD EU CRCF) and national climate policies relevant to our projects and buyers.

Methodology Projects
Lead or support the development comparison and application of methodologies for our portfolio of forestry projects. This includes working closely with forestry professionals and academics as well as our partners at WaldKlimaschutz Schweiz to further develop our offering of carbon credits.

Strategic Special Projects
Manage oneoff or crossfunctional initiatives e.g. launching pilot projects with partners supporting R&D efforts public funding proposals or contributing to industry consultations.

ProductMarket Fit
Translate regulatory and methodological requirements into inputs for our digital products (e.g. Project Design Studio Registry Impact Dashboard) working closely with product data sales and design teams.

Partnerships & Representation
Represent our perspective in industry working groups and at conferences. Foster relationships with key stakeholders including policymakers standard setters and project partners.

What You Bring

• Academic background in environmental science forestry political science economics or similar.
• Strong interest in climate policy carbon markets and naturebased solutions.
• 2 years of experience in a fastpaced analytical or crossfunctional role (e.g. consulting sustainability public affairs or startup/scaleup environments).
• Excellent project management and organisational skills you enjoy taking ownership.
• Strong communication and synthesis abilities you can extract insights from policies and market research to create business value.
• Youre comfortable with ambiguity and need little direction to deliver results.
• Youre a fast selfdirected learner who enjoys a steep learning curve and is willing to dive into the nitty gritty of methodologies and policies to create impact.
• You like wearing many hats and working on a diverse range of topics with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Youre effective in employing AI tools (ChatGPT etc. to enhance your productivity. You continuously explore how to leverage these tools effectively.
• Bonus: experience working with voluntary carbon standards policy research or product teams.
