Job Title:Quality Control/Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Pay:$28.00 $32.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Hours:Monday Friday 6:00 AM 3:30 PM (Potential Saturdays; hours may vary based on workload)

Position Overview
We are currently seeking aCertified Welding Inspector (CWI)for a temptohire opportunity in Tulsa. This position plays a critical role in ensuring welding quality and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes such as AWS ASME and API. The ideal candidate will have strong inspection experience NDT skills and a commitment to safety and precision in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform visual weld inspections for compliance with codes and specifications.
Verify correct welding procedures materials and techniques are being used.
Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) and Welder Performance Qualifications.
Conduct NDT inspections using magnetic particle dye penetrant ultrasonic or radiographic testing methods.
Document inspection results generate nonconformance reports and track corrective actions.
Collaborate with welders supervisors engineers and clients to resolve weldingrelated issues.
Maintain accurate inspection records and compliance documentation.
Promote and enforce safety and quality standards on job sites and in the shop.
Required Skills & Experience
35 years of welding inspection experience in industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS ASME and API welding codes metallurgy and NDT techniques.
Proficient in blueprint reading welding symbols and technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail communication skills and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in shop or yard environments.
Frequent walking standing climbing crouching twisting and stooping required.
