Process Quality Controller Process Inspector - Inspector II - Curing

YOUR TASKS

This role is responsible for inspecting tires and semiproducts to ensure compliance with Continental Tire WW quality and safety standards identifying and addressing nonconformities and maintaining accurate documentation and data entry. It also includes tasks such as errorproofing verification and waste classification to support overall quality assurance efforts.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Perform tire inspections to ensure compliance with Continental Tire WW quality standards and control plans.
• Apply knowledge of offstandard criteria and QMS standards (ISO/TS16949 CCC) during inspections.
• Identify and act on nonconformities by notifying personnel halting processes and blocking materials as needed.
• Complete required documentation including overinspection checklists and daily quality reports.
• Enter inspection and quality data into electronic SPC systems.
• Conduct errorproofing verifications and ensure proper quality procedures are followed.
• Weigh classify and record data on waste materials in the designated collection area.
• Be selfmanaged detailoriented and capable of performing under pressure
• Follow all plant ESH CBS quality and department processes and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

THE ENVIRONMENT

• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection safety shoes safety glasses (as needed)
• 12hour 223 pattern (panama) shift 6:45am7:00pm including every other weekend and overtime as needed
  • Training schedule could potentially be on a different pattern
• This job has exposure to high temperatures. You may be exposed forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise
• This role starts at $20.70 an hour. If internal candidates are offered pay may change depending on current hourly rate

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work assigned shift for this position
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
