Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Designerto join our design team focused on FieldEdge our allinone platform that helps contractors manage everything from scheduling and dispatch to billing and customer communications. In this role youll collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to define and deliver intuitive scalable experiences that empower both office staff and technicians in the field. Youll play a key role in shaping the product strategy and design vision while solving realworld problems for our users.
Youll be part of a talented team of eight designers working across different software products within Xplor giving you the opportunity to collaborate share knowledge and grow alongside a strong and supportive design community while also owning endtoend design for FieldEdge.
As a Senior Product Designer you will:
- Lead design discussions and define strategy for key product initiatives translating user needs into intuitive and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Engineering and stakeholders to drive work from discovery through delivery.
- Execute thoughtful highquality design work with a strong attention to detail ensuring alignment with FieldEdges goals and Xplors broader design system.
- Own user research efforts plan conduct and synthesize insights to inform your designs and improve the user experience.
- Design seamless userfriendly mobile experiences for both iOS and Android platforms with a deep understanding of platform best practices and constraints.
- Confidently present your work and rationale to crossfunctional teams and senior leadership adapting communication to your audience.
- Participate and facilitate design critiques encouraging feedback and collaboration across teams.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team culture growth and shared learning.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems pattern libraries and documentation to ensure consistency across the platform.
The average base salary pay range for this position is $120000 to $150000
Qualifications :
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design expertise across web and mobile platforms.
- 5 years of product design experience ideally in SaaS or tech environments.
- Experience designing and executing largescale projects from concept to launch.
- Deep understanding of usercentered design principles and experience with user research and testing.
- Proven experience designing mobile applications that have been published and are live.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Figma Sketch) and a keen understanding of design systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to present work confidently to stakeholders.
- Selfmotivated and capable of leading design efforts with minimal guidance.
- Experience working in fastpaced iterative environments where adaptability is key.
