The Role
Valence has a product marketing problem. A good onethe kind that signals momentum and craves sharper storytelling.

Nadia our AIpowered leadership coach is the most widely deployed of her kind. We have real traction with enterprise customers global CHROs at our events and users who genuinely love what weve built. The product is working. The market is responding. But our messaging hasnt kept up.
Our site is a palimpsesta visible layering of past ideas halfretired narratives and outdated positioning. It hints at where weve been more than where were going. Our campaigns are more scattered than strategic. And in a space evolving as fast as enterprise AI even great messaging has a short halflife. What resonated last month might feel stale today. If that sounds chaotic this probably isnt your role. If it sounds energizing read on.

Were looking for a sharp handson founding Product Marketing Lead to own how we position and communicate about Nadia across the entire buyer and user journey. This role is both strategic and executional. Youll craft narratives that resonate with enterprise HR and talent leaders while ensuring consistency across sales marketing product and customer success. Youll be at the center of the feedback looplistening to prospects customers and the market and turning insights into messaging that drives clarity excitement and conversion.
Youll work directly with the founder and crossfunctional teams to shape a story that reflects the products actual impactand moves with the market. This is not a farm it out kind of role. Its for someone who wants to get close to the product the roadmap the customers and the words.

What Youll Do

    • Define Nadias Positioning and Messaging: Lead the development of clear differentiated and customercentric positioning frameworks. Synthesize insights from leadership customers and the market to evolve our narrative and voice.
    • Ensure Messaging Consistency Across the Business: Act as the central voice on how we describe our productpartnering with sales content client solutions and product to maintain clarity and alignment from website copy to user emails.
    • Create Content & Guide Content Strategy: Partner with our team of freelancers and agencies to shape strategy and produce content based on your deep knowledge of our product audience and market.
    • Own the Website Content Strategy: Determine which pages are needed and keep messaging copy and content updated and consistent.
    • Own Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the evolving enterprise AI and HR tech landscape to inform positioning. Build a feedback loop so product and GTM teams stay ahead of the curve.
    • Support Sales with Messaging That Works: Equip sales with the language frameworks and objectionshandling materials they need to win. Drive alignment across the funnelfrom first impression to close.
    • Lead UserFacing Product Comms: Own the messaging for lifecycle and product launch plansensuring our clients and users always understand the why not just the what.
    • Champion the Voice of the Customer: Conduct user and prospect interviews to uncover product understanding motivations and pain points. Translate findings into actionable insights for marketing product and content teams.

What Were Looking For

    • 5 years of experience in product marketing or contentdriven GTM roles preferably in B2B SaaS with enterprise clients
    • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills with a portfolio of live content product messaging and/or web copy youve led or shaped
    • A deep understanding of enterprise buyer mindsetsbonus if this is focused on HR L&D and talent leadership
    • Experience building compelling narratives copy and content
    • A track record of collaborating crossfunctionally with product sales and customer teams to drive results
    • Comfort interviewing customers navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly based on feedback
    • An ownership mentality: youre handson and excited to build not just guide
    • Familiarity with AI products content automation tools and modern sales enablement approaches is a plus

Location and Work Environment
This role is 3 days a week (Tues Thursday) minimum in office near Union Square. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones (UK) and have valid travel documents to visit European countries as well as the US and Canada as needed.
