Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Seasonal Field Personnel will safely conduct field and office tasks related to field research. Adequate training will be provided on a task bytask basis. This is a temporary seasonal position.
REPORTING LINE:
- Directly reports to: Field Scientist or Supervisor
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Safely perform specific duties associated with the conduct of trials as detailed in SGS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). These duties are briefly summarized below:
- Plot maintenance planting and cultivation under the direction of a Field Scientist or Farm Manager
- Pollinations Sampling and Field Data collection under the direction of a Field Scientist
- Safely complete assigned duties according to applicable SOPs and training
- At all times comply with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides guidance and/or leadership to others including indirect reports peers or managers No

Qualifications :
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No experience
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Must be detailoriented well organized and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must be able to work safely in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to handle a variety of projects effectively efficiently and with confidentiality
