We are seeking a talented and detailoriented Chef de Partie (Cold Kitchen) to join our culinary team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for overseeing the cold kitchen section ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation while maintaining efficient operations.
- Manage daily operations of the cold kitchen section including Arabic salads Canaps and Sushi.
- Prepare highquality dishes according to recipes and established standards
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cold kitchen area adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and development with a focus on innovative cold kitchen items
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cold kitchen techniques and preparations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team and other departments
- Monitor and maintain proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies for the cold kitchen
- Assist in portion control and food cost management for cold kitchen items
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role specializing in cold kitchen
- Strong knowledge of cold kitchen preparations techniques and trends
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Excellent culinary skills and proficiency in various cold food preparation techniques
- Specialized knowledge in garde manger including Arabic salads canaps sushi and cold desserts.
- Proficient in operating standard kitchen equipment especially those used in cold kitchen
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Valid food safety certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts particularly in cold kitchen preparations
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Experience in menu planning and development for cold kitchen items
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
