Reports To: Managing Partner

About the Opportunity

Yorktown Search Partners is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client a distinguished boutique professional services firm specializing in accounting and advisory services. Our client is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Rainmaker Accountant to join their Transaction Advisory Services team. This role combines business development with the of transactionrelated services including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business and delivering highquality advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development:

    • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firms transaction advisory services.
    • Represent the firm at industry events conferences and networking functions.

Transaction Advisory Services:

    • Lead and manage buyside and sellside M&A engagements including due diligence and financial analysis.
    • Provide clients with strategic advice on transaction structures valuations and negotiations.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring exceptional service delivery.
    • Maintain longterm relationships with clients providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for additional services.

Qualifications

  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting with a focus on transaction advisory services.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • A verifiable and portable book of business is required.
