Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of an Experienced Social Worker on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 24.88 32.47 per Hour

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our dedicated Families and Wellbeing team. As part of our commitment to providing highquality support and safeguarding services you will independently manage a caseload undertake complex assessments and collaborate with multiagency teams to secure positive outcomes for children adults families and carers.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake community care and safeguarding assessments for complex or unusual cases.
  • Provide critical information and support to individuals families carers and communities to improve quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes prepare reports and present evidence in court when required.
  • Act as a source of expert advice within your team and across the organisation.
  • Liaise with multiagency teams to ensure a seamless personcentred service.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification e.g. DipSW).
  • HCPC Registration (or relevant regulatory body registration).
  • Evidence of continued professional development in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF).
  • Completion of relevant postqualifying or vocational training courses.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years postqualification experience in social work.
  • Experience working in multiagency settings.
  • Proven experience working with carers and families.
  • Direct involvement in statutory social work practices including assessment planning safeguarding and court proceedings.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
