FullTime Assistant Dental Office Manager Guilford CT

Are you an organized peopleloving multitasker who thrives in a fastpaced dental environment Guilford Dental Arts is looking for a fulltime Assistant Dental Office Manager to work alongside our Office Manager and help keep our growing practice running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and work alongside the Office Manager in overseeing daily operations of the front office

  • Post patient payments and process preestimates (send enter follow up with insurance)

  • Monitor schedule flow coordinate with clinical team and notify patients if running behind

  • Scan and file correspondence; mark appointments complete; check with Office Manager before presenting Financial Agreements to doctors

  • Confirm hygiene appointments; check with Office Manager before confirming doctor s schedule

  • Look ahead 2 weeks to help manage appointment flow and potential conflicts

  • Verify health history premed status and update insurance details in Dentrix Document Center

  • Help fill open appointments coordinate with OM for historical insight

  • Handle referrals and emails during patient checkout

  • Coordinate with Dental Assistant on upcoming implant appointments and part needs

  • Manage phones take messages review morning message and relay to doctor appropriately

  • Participate in daily morning huddles to review the day s schedule and updates

  • All other duties assigned by Office Manager and/or Doctors


What We re Looking For:
  • 2 years of dental office experience (front desk or management preferred)

  • Highly experienced in Dentrix REQUIRED: AR reports ledgers progress notes treatment plans claims etc

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic teamoriented environment

  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others

Schedule:
Fulltime Monday Thursday(3 day weekend!



Responsibilities: Chairside assisting with general procedures, as well as periodontal and prosthodontic treatments Assist with intraoral scanning and uploading files to Dentrix and 3Shape Trios Pour dental casts and help with sterilization and infection control Collaborate with the lead assistant to order dental implant parts and supplies Contact vendor representatives for maintenance of office equipment (chairs, compressors, sterilizers, etc. Email patient photos and radiographs to the dental lab as needed Upload images from the SLR camera into patient files Help manage in-house laundry for treatment gowns Answer phones and assist with front desk tasks in the absence of front desk staff Demonstrate a versatile, open-to-learning attitude with a willingness to grow Must be a Certified Dental Assistant with a strong work ethic and team mindset Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a dental assistant. Experience assisting with Periodontists or Prosthodontist is a plus Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with a strong work ethic and team mindset Proficient in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
