How do you excel in this position
The ideal candidate will be able to to oversee multiple audiovisual (AV) construction projects. This role ensures AV installations are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing AVspecific project plans budgets and schedules; coordinating with clients subcontractors and engineers; and supervising onsite work to ensure proper installation and system integration. The Project Manager will address change orders oversee equipment deliveries and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Success in this role requires excellent communication organizational skills and experience with AV systems in a construction environment.
What are we looking for
- Associate degree in a field related to construction (i.e. engineering architecture) or equivalent related work experience required.
- 2 years of progressive experience in a role performing project management job functions for construction projects.
- Proficiency in planning scheduling and coordinating detailed project phases along with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products.
- 10hour OSHA certification required.
- Primary project financial competence (budget labor costs billings) forecasting complete billed) KPIs (financial productivity quality culture) and reporting (progress schedule).
- Strong communication skills adaptability and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fastpaced timesensitive environment are essential.
- Must be authorized to work in US.
- Ability to travel extensively with a valid Drivers License.
- Government badge may be required for most sites must be prepared to pass an extensive background check.
Additional skills preferred but not required
- Bachelors preferred. Higher education degree and additional certifications (i.e. PMP CEM LEED AP EIT or PE).
- 30hour OSHA certification a plus.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and industry standards a plus.
- CTS Certification a plus.
