Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to support the development and delivery of an advanced visual analytic application. You will work on designing and implementing data analytics for desktop and webbased software solutions enabling actionable intelligence through advanced graphics highperformance computing and visualization.
As a Data Engineer you will integrate structured and semistructured data streams into manageable formats design enterprise database strategies and enhance system performance. Your work will contribute to delivering highquality scalable solutions in a missioncritical environment.
Responsibilities
Develop data analytics for desktop and webbased visual analytic applications.
Facilitate bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics and highperformance computing.
Work with opensource COTS and GOTS technologies to create scalable secure solutions.
Establish applications that produce actionable intelligence from structured and semistructured data streams.
Design strategies for enterprise database systems setting standards for operations programming and security.
Design construct and maintain large relational databases.
Integrate new systems into existing data warehouse structures and refine system performance.
Enhance system functionality by identifying and implementing performance improvements.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience: 1 year of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of relational databases data warehousing and performance optimization.
Proficiency in handling structured and semistructured data streams.
Familiarity with highperformance computing and advanced visualization techniques.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
