Inside Sales Engineer Trainee
Our client a leading company in the Rigging Cranes Sectional Barges Winches Wire Rope and Hoists sectors is looking for an Inside Sales Engineer Trainee. This position is instrumental in the companys future growth and strategy. Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the companys products market and techniques to provide customers with engineering solutions to their equipment needs.
- Work primarily in an inside sales capacity bringing your engineering skills and mindset to add value solutions and thoughtout options to the customer interaction.
- Grow to provide more designbased solutions on the outside as needed.
- Focus initially on the equipment side providing solutions that involve barge winch and moving systems.
- Work as part of a team to deal with rigging and other specialized elements.
Qualifications:
- ME degree or strong engineering problemsolving skills. School projects involving heavy lifting power transmission gearing and controls would be beneficial.
- Open to some industry experience but prefer not having to retrain to remove bad habits.
- Customerfacing work experience from a service perspective (nontransactional).
- Strong communication skills curious creative and proactive in seeking out solutions.
- Ability to provide reasoned and wellthoughtout answers.
- Responsible clean driving and background.
