Job Description
Position: Machinist
NARIK CONSULTING LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Hartsville SC. As a Machinist you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This is a fulltime position with a 40hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce highquality parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to determine machine setup and production methods
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Maintain and repair machines as needed to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while operating machines and handling materials
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and meet project deadlines
- Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with programming software (Esprit or MasterCam etc) preferred.
- Be proficient in reading standard and metric blueprints along with knowing GD&T.
- Experience with manual and CNC machines including lathes mills and grinders
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform accurate measurements
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
