Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Golden Valley MN
Shift Type: Days
Hours: 80 hours per 2week pay period 8hour days)
Hourly Rate: $37.49 to $56.23 (Based on experience)
Overview:
The Ultrasound Technologist will perform highquality ultrasound procedures in a safe efficient and customerfocused manner. This position supports a broad range of patients including neonates through geriatrics ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging that aids in clinical decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret ultrasound procedures with precision and clinical accuracy
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during exams
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate medical records
- Operate imaging and hospital systems effectively
- Assist with quality assurance processes and equipment maintenance
- Support IAC accreditation processes (if applicable)
- Deliver preliminary findings to physicians when needed
Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Competency across various ultrasound procedures
- Ability to manage patient care with professionalism and compassion
- Compliance with legal regulatory and accreditation requirements
