Aufgaben Das erwartet Sie bei uns:
Wir entwickeln kundenspezifische Energiesysteme mit unserem MicroGrid Controller. In dieser Position sind Sie verantwortlich fr den Aufbau und die Bereitstellung des Automatisierungssystems unserer MicrogridProjekte.
Im Einzelnen haben Sie folgende Aufgaben:
Zusammenarbeit mit Projektingenieuren unseren Lieferanten und Kunden um die Anforderungen fr jedes neue Projekt zu verstehen und umzusetzen
Basierend auf den Projektanforderungen entwickeln Sie neue Softwaremodule oder parametrieren bestehende Module entsprechend
Beschaffung und Auswertung von Kommunikationsschnittstellen ausgewhlter Gertehersteller (z. B. Generatorsteuerungen Energiezhler PVWechselrichter Windkraftanlagen usw.
Implementieren der Kommunikation der oben genannten Gerte
Integrieren Sie unsere Lsung in bestehende SCADASysteme der Kunden
Teilnahme an der Inbetriebnahme und Fehlersuche fr die Projekte ggf. auch vor Ort
Nutzung und Konfiguration unserer Software zur regelmigen Untersttzung des Serviceteams als SecondLevelSupport.
Qualifikationen Was wir uns wnschen:
Sie sind ein erfahrener Automatisierungsingenieur mit fundierter praktischer Erfahrung mit SPSSystemen und industrieller Kommunikation. Sie sind daran interessiert dass Lsungen in der Praxis korrekt umgesetzt werden. Der ideale Kandidat sollte ber Folgendes verfgen:
Ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Automatisierungstechnik Elektrotechnik oder ein vergleichbarer technischer Abschluss
Erfahrung im Umgang mit industriellen Kommunikationsprotokollen wie Modbus MBus IEC 61850 IEC/101 OPC/UA Mehrjhrige
Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit SPS im industriellen Umfeld vorzugsweise mit B&R Automation
Felderfahrung mit elektrischen Systemen (PV Wind Batterie GasAggregaten Notstrom) ist ein groes Plus
Praktische Erfahrung mit TPC/IPNetzwerken (Routerkonfiguration Topologien) ist ein groes Plus
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfhigkeiten und selbststndiges Arbeiten
Sie sind in der Lage sowohl in Deutsch als auch Englisch sicher zu arbeiten
Bereitschaft zu Reisen

Project Engineer Automation Microgrids (m/f/d)
RollsRoyce Solutions develops microgrid solutions including energy storage systems that bring reliable and efficient power to remote communities industry facilities and commercial buildings. With our technology we support the grid all over the globe and help on & offgrid facilities to move to renewable energy.
Tasks What to expect from us:
We develop customer specific projects and a powerful microgrid controller to large scale energy projects all over the world. We are realizing dozens of such projects every year and we need your help to deliver these solutions to our customers.
In this position you will be responsible for setting up and delivering the automation core of our microgrid projects including battery energy storage and renewable energy sources. Specifically you will have the following responsibilities:
Work with project engineers our suppliers and customers to understand the requirements for each new project that comes in
Based on the project requirements develop new software modules
Acquire and evaluate communication interfaces from selected equipment manufacturers (i.e. genset controllers energy meters PV inverters wind turbines etc)
Implement communication with these devices
Integrate our software into existing customer SCADA systems
Participate in commissioning process for the projects
As an expert in the use and configuration of our software you will also regularly provide secondlevel support to the service team
Note that participation in commissioning and secondlevel support may require travel and an ability to travel is a requirement for the position.
Qualifications Who we are looking for:
You are an experienced automation engineer with deep practical experience with PLC systems and industrial communication. You are keen to see solutions implemented correctly in the field. The ideal candidate should have:
A completed degree in automation electric engineering or similar technical degree
Experience working with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus MBus IEC 61850 IEC/101 OPC/UA
Multiple years experience working with PLCs in industrial settings preferably with B&R automation
Field experience with electrical generation systems (PV wind battery gas prime power emergency diesel) is a big plus
Practical experience with TPC/IP networking (router configuration topologies) is a big plus
Excellent communication skills and independent working skills
You should be able to work in both German and English
