About the Business:
Community is at the heart of what we do as we collect over 140 million litres of milk each year from more than 50 dairy farming families located in WAs pristine Southwest region. All our Brownes Dairy products are made in WA. Our CEO is from WA too. We are fiercely protective of our environment pride ourselves on being a leader in sustainability and our free school tours program sees thousands of school children learn about the benefits of dairy too.
We are currently looking for a MaintenanceFitter who will play a vital part in ensuring our assets in Brunswick are optimized to provide the best possible products from a mechanical perspective ensuring our machinery is maintained so that our plant can run 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
This is a fulltime position working a 42hour flexible week. You will be working in a team with a focus on coaching and mentoring with a competitive salary.
What are we looking for
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
- The ability and confidence to work effectively without supervision
- Experience with computerized preventative maintenance programs
- Good planning time management and communication skills
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Extensive knowledge and use of faultfinding techniques within an automated production plant.
- Perform work in accordance with relevant Australian Standards quality and environmental measurements (e.g. AS3000 ISO 9000 QMS Food Safety Systems (HACCP RMA).
