Job Description

Description

AS A RETURNS ASSOCIATE YOU WILL:

  • Processing customer returns in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Repack orders when necessary
  • Perform vital housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.
  • Maintain safe actions in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson federal state and local provisions.
  • Meet department quality attendance and productivity requirements.
  • Assist and train new hires.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of warehouse experience
  • Working knowledge of a computer and working with warehouse software
  • Detailed oriented with ability to follow specific instructions
  • Ability to read and follow processes and policies
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Lift max of 35 lbs; tools available to assist with lifting and moving heavier items
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day

PREFERREDEXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Product knowledge
  • Working knowledge of JDE/Oracle is a plus
  • Basic computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Organization and clerical skills
  • Strong counting abilities
