Job Description
AS A RETURNS ASSOCIATE YOU WILL:
- Processing customer returns in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Repack orders when necessary
- Perform vital housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment.
- Maintain safe actions in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson federal state and local provisions.
- Meet department quality attendance and productivity requirements.
- Assist and train new hires.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Working knowledge of a computer and working with warehouse software
- Detailed oriented with ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to read and follow processes and policies
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Lift max of 35 lbs; tools available to assist with lifting and moving heavier items
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours per day
PREFERREDEXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Product knowledge
- Working knowledge of JDE/Oracle is a plus
- Basic computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Organization and clerical skills
- Strong counting abilities
